  Source: Letter to Betty Crimmins July 25, 1983, reporting the death of their mother - Anna fell the day before Thanksgiving of 1982 and had successful surgery to repair a broken hip. ( Faulkner Hospital ). She was transferred to & recuperating at the Recuperative Center on Dec. 23 1982. She died of massive embolism on Feb.1, 1983, the eve of her 94th birthday.
