  SOURCE: Record of the Descendants of Timothy Rockwood by E.L.Rockwood "Addenda" by Margaret Crosby Richard immigrated to America from Weymouth, England in 1635. His son Nicholas moved from Braintree and settled in Medfield which became the homestead of the Rockwood family for over 100 years. Note: The part of Medfield where the Rockwoods settled became Medway in 1713, and, again in 1828, that part of Medway was set off and became part of Holliston.
