      Thomas appears to have arrived in Salem, Massachusetts with a young family
      around 1630 and lived for a time in Lynn. Moved to Duxbury July 3, 1637 than
      the same year to Sandwich. Became a leader of the community, serving the town
      in every office. Called in later life, "Goodman Burgess and Thomas, the
      Pilgrim."

      Thomas and Dorothy had five (5) children.
